Be afraid, they’ve been conjuring a sequel to The Nun!

If 2018’s The Nun left you shaken, then look out, for The Nun II is coming to rattle you some more.
Yes, the horror thriller, which is part of the Conjuring cinematic universe, is set to continue the story. Here’s the setup: “1956 – France. A priest is murdered. An evil is spreading. We follow Sister Irene as she once again comes face-to-face with Valak, the demon nun.”
Taissa Farmiga returns in her role of Sister Irene, and is joined by the likes of Jonas Bloquet, Storm Reid, Anna Popplewell, and Bonnie Aarons. The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It director Michael Chaves calls the scary shots.
Interestingly, the whole Conjuring universe is the highest grossing horror franchise ever, having brought in more than US$2 billion worldwide. The Nun has been the biggest money-spinner of all eight movies, which includes the creepy doll tales of Annabelle.
The Nun II is set to spook Australian cinemagoers from September 7.
