Eric Bana goes back to nature in The Dry follow-up
In 2021, dark Australian thriller The Dry captivated moviegoers. Now a sequel is inbound, with star Eric Bana returning to his role of Aaron Falk in Force of Nature: The Dry 2.
Writer/director Robert Connolly also returns behind the camera taking on another best-selling Jane Harper tale, in a story that will see “five women take part in a corporate hiking retreat and only four come out on the other side. Federal Agents Aaron Falk and Carmen Cooper head deep into the Victorian mountain ranges to investigate in the hopes of finding their whistle-blowing informant alive.”
Eric Bana is joined in the cast by an impressive list of co-stars that includes Richard Roxburgh, Robin McLeavy, Jacqueline McKenzie, Sisi Stringer, Jeremy Lindsay Taylor, Anna Torv, Deborra-Lee Furness, Lucy Ansell, Tony Briggs, and Kenneth Radley.
With a tagline of “Suspect everyone. Trust no one,” it’s all a bit The X-Files – hopefully, it’s as good!
Force of Nature: The Dry 2 is currently scheduled to release in Australian cinemas from August 24.
