From the mind behind Midsommar and Hereditary comes Beau is Afraid
The next movie from writer director Ari Aster, Beau Is Afraid, looks like it’ll be another trip into mind melting territory.
The comedy/drama/mystery – or “nightmare comedy” - stars Joaquin Phoenix as a successful entrepreneur who appears to be having quite a challenging time. We get to experience his story over the space of several decades.
Nathan Lane, Amy Ryan, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Zoe Lister-Jones, Armen Nahapetian, Parker Posey, Richard Kind, Michael Gandolfini, and Patti LuPone all star alongside Phoenix.
Beau Is Afraid is set to hit cinemas later in 2023.
