Crunchyroll, the ultimate home for anime worldwide, announced today at CinemaCon that they have acquired the rights for 'HAIKYU!! The Dumpster Battle', based on the beloved volleyball series.

In celebration of the tenth anniversary of the popular series, the all-new theatrical film will continue the battle between fan favourite rivals Karasuno and Nekoma.

The series HAIKYU!! revolves around the character Shoyo Hinata's love of volleyball, and his efforts to create a team during his last year of middle school, only to be crushed and determined to up the ante against his rival as he enters high school.

The film was a box office hit in Japan, earning US$57 million in its opening weekend. It's now our turn, and HAIKYU!! The Dumpster Battle is set to spike into Australian cinemas on May 30, available in both Japanese with English subtitles as well as English dub.
