Marvel at The Marvels!

When last we checked in, things were a bit messy in the world of Captain Marvel, with all sorts of power problems and body swapping issues. The Marvels is set to continue the story.

To be right up with what’s been going on you’ll need to have taken in the Ms. Marvel series, but if you missed it this official synopsis kind of gets us up to speed…

“Carol Danvers - aka Captain Marvel - has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilised universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol's estranged niece Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as The Marvels.”

Brie Larson returns as Captain Marvel, alongside Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, Teyonah Parris, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. Candyman reboot director Nia DaCosta took the reins on this one.

Anyway, a new teaser trailer has dropped, giving us a quick taste of what looks like will be quite the trip. You can watch it down the page a little.

Catch The Marvels in Australian cinemas from November 9.
