LG has announced its 2025 OLED TV range, promising to push the boundaries of home entertainment like never before with stunning visuals, immersive sound, and next-level gaming.
What’s new in OLED evo?
LG has been the global market leader in OLED display technology for over a decade, and at the top of their 2025 range sits the magnificent OLED evo AI G5, available in in 55", 65”, 77” and 83” size options.
Powered by the Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen2 for even more amazing picture and sound quality, the G5 is equipped with the new Brightness Booster Ultimate function, delivering up to three times the brightness of previous models.
LG isn’t just improving brightness, however. They’ve also introduced Ambient Light Compensation in Filmmaker Mode, which automatically adjusts the picture settings based on a room’s lighting to stay true to the director’s vision.
With AI Super Upscaling, AI Dynamic Tone Mapping, and AI Object Recognition, the G5 ensures that even low-resolution content looks sharp and lifelike. And gamers will love the high 165Hz refresh rate for smooth, lag-free play.
Also available in the 2025 OLED evo AI line-up is the mid-range C5, which is 15% brighter than the OLED evo C4. Designed with everyday versatility in mind, the C5 is engineered to meet the demands of both film enthusiasts and gamers.
Available in six sizes – 42”, 48”, 55”, 65”, 77” and 83” – the C5 also features Brightness Booster tech for enhanced peak brightness up to 50% compared to non-evo LG OLED models, along with better visibility in bright rooms, and Dolby Vision to optimise contrast and colour for lifelike images on supported content.
AI – Affectionate Intelligence
AI is at the core of LG’s 2025 TVs. Their “Affectionate Intelligence” concept means the TV doesn’t just respond to commands, it learns and adapts to deliver more personalised viewing.
The cool new AI Chatbot allows users to troubleshoot issues and adjust settings by simply saying things like, “The screen is too dark,” and the TV will fix it for you.
LG’s AI Search also makes for effortless content look-up – just hold down the dedicated AI button on the remote and say what you’re looking for.
