Laptop chargers
While many high capacity power banks can charge a laptop, there are certain things to look out for.
One of the biggest differences between laptop chargers and regular chargers for smartphones and other devices is power output. Traditional chargers, for example, usually provide around 18W–30W of power – enough to charge a phone but insufficient for a laptop.
Laptop chargers need to deliver much more power and generally require anywhere between 20–100W, depending on the model. A 20K power bank can charge an average laptop once, and the higher the watts, the more times it can be charged.
Most laptops use a barrel-style connector or a USB-C port for charging, and while USB-C is now more common with newer models, older laptops often rely on proprietary barrel connectors, so keep this in mind if buying a replacement charger.
