The smart home outside

Beyond smart lighting outdoors, such tasks as watering control and opening and closing your garage can all benefit from the smart touch. Even the more fun stuff that you may keep inside that garage...

Garage door openers

Garage doors can be set to open automatically according to your GPS location or at scheduled times, or controlled remotely from a single app. And if you’ve driven off and left the door open, an alert will let you know. Integration into a smart home ecosystem lets you add camera surveillance and set routines, like turning on the garage light when you arrive home.

Most are fully compatible with all types of garage doors and openers, and some models allow control of multiple doors and security gates. They connect directly to the opener or wall button, and installation is easy – all you need is a screwdriver.

Ismartgate Lite Smart Garage Door Opener

Smart water controller

Water lawns and gardens remotely from a phone app, or instruct a voice assistant when to turn the sprinkler on/off. A convenient way to keep things green, smart water controllers can also cut the cost of your water bill, with timer controls to reduce wastage, and real time water usage and history. And you won’t have to rely on a neighbour to hold the hose when you’re away.

Electric scooters

An electric scooter is the perfect accompaniment to the smart home. Friendly on the hip pocket and the environment, it offers an excellent commute, so you can leave the car at home.

Throw in low maintenance costs and no insurance or rego, and it makes sense to have an electric scooter in the garage. Whipping down to the shops to get some milk has never been so much fun.
