Are Apple Watches waterproof?
Technically, Apple watches are water-resistant, not waterproof. Older models like the Apple Watch Series 1 have an IPX7 rating, while the latest releases, including the Apple Watch Series 10, have a water-resistance rating of 50 meters. This means they can take a splash or a quick dive in the water and come out unscathed. However, you can’t take them swimming or scuba diving.
