Apple Intelligence: Available in beta on all Mac models with M1 and later, with Siri and device language set to English (Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, UK or US), as a macOS Sequoia update. Additional features and Chinese (Simplified), English (India, Singapore), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil) and Spanish language support available in early April, with more languages coming over the course of the year, including Vietnamese. Some features may not be available in all regions or languages.
Display: Screen size is measured diagonally. The displays on the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air and the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro have rounded corners at the top. When measured as a standard rectangular shape, the screens are 13.6 inches, 15.3 inches, 14.2 inches and 16.2 inches diagonally (actual viewable area is less).
Up to 23x Faster than the Fastest Intel-Based MacBook Air (Intel, 2020): Testing conducted by Apple in January 2025 using preproduction 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air systems with Apple M4, 10-core CPU, 10-core GPU and 32GB of RAM, as well as production 1.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7–based MacBook Air systems with Intel Iris Plus Graphics and 16GB of RAM, all configured with 2TB SSD. Tested using Super Resolution with Pixelmator Pro 3.6.14 and a 4.4MB image. Performance tests are conducted using specific computer systems and reflect the approximate performance of MacBook Air.

Adobe Photoshop 2025 26.2.0 tested using the following filters and functions: radial blur, content aware scale, diffuse, find edges and blur more. Performance tests are conducted using specific computer systems and reflect the approximate performance of MacBook Air.
Mac and iPhone: Requires iCloud and internet connection. iPhone Mirroring is available on Mac computers with Apple silicon and Intel-based Mac computers with a T2 Security Chip. Requires that your iPhone and Mac are signed in with the same Apple Account using two-factor authentication, your iPhone and Mac are near each other and have Bluetooth® and Wi-Fi turned on, and your Mac is not using AirPlay or Sidecar. Some iPhone features (such as camera and microphone) are not compatible with iPhone Mirroring.
Up to 6 More Hours Battery Life than the Intel-Based MacBook Air (Up to 18 Hours Total): Compared with 1.1GHz dual-core Intel Core i3–based MacBook Air. Testing conducted by Apple in February 2020 using preproduction 1.1GHz dual-core Intel Core i3–based MacBook Air systems with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. The iTunes movie playback test measures battery life by playing back 1080p HD content. Testing conducted by Apple in January 2025 using preproduction 13-inch MacBook Air systems with Apple M4, 10-core CPU and 8-core GPU, and preproduction 15-inch MacBook Air systems with Apple M4, 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU, all configured with 16GB of RAM and 256GB SSD.
