What is a 8K TV?
An 8K TV is also sometimes called an 8K Ultra HD TV or an 8K UHD TV. The reason it’s called any of those things is because of the screen resolution. There are about 7,700 horizontal and about 4300 vertical pixels in an 8K TV. That means about 33 million pixels all up, about four-times the number of pixels as a 4K TV. That means higher resolution and incredibly crisp detail. Is an 8K TV worth it?
While there isn’t a lot of 8K content out there at the moment, it’s only a matter of time before 8K resolution becomes as popular as 4K is now. So, can get in early with an 8K Smart TV today and be ready. 8K TVs have upscaling technology, which means they can upscale existing content as much as possible. So either way, while you may not be watching total 8K on your TV, you’ll be watching a picture quality that’s better than you have ever seen before.
