I'm Wanita is the story of a chaotic, flamboyant force of nature & her lifelong odyssey to realise her childhood dream - possibly at the cost of those dearest to her.

Wanita is based in Australia's Country Music Capital' Tamworth, and lives her own unique version of the rough-talking, hard-drinking, country music lifestyle. Devoted to the sound & personalities of classic country and clearly born in the wrong era', Wanita commits to walk in the footsteps of her honkytonk idols by recording what she says will be her definitive album', in the mecca of country music, Nashville.

Fellow musicians and believers Gleny Rae and Archer join as her support team but once on the road they discover Wanita's excesses and distractions threaten to derail the mission. As part of the trio's American odyssey they travel to the birthplace of rock'n'roll - Sun Studios in Memphis; take to the streets and studios of New Orleans, and find themselves in country music's hallowed ground - Nashville, Tennessee - recording with legendary country producer Billy Yates. Will a lifetime of dashed dreams overshadow this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, or will she stand and deliver?
