The FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM II renders consistently clean and clear images from corner to corner throughout the entire 16mm to 35mm zoom range. It is perfectly suited to photographing dynamic architecture, landscapes, portraiture along with the myriad of photographic genres that demand excellent resolution and image quality.

Reduced Focus and Axial shift when zooming during video recording. Centralised weight distribution at different focal lengths, removing the need to re-balance the gimbal when there is a change in focal length.

Superior optical design and the latest floating focus mechanism enable close-up shooting as close as 22 centimeters with a magnification factor of 0.32x across the entire zoom range, delivering images with beautifully smooth bokeh.

Professional reliability
The FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM II has been designed for improved dust and moisture resistance compared to the previous model. All seams feature structural sealing, buttons and switches are fitted with silicone rubber gaskets and a rubber ring seals the lens mount.
The front lens element has a fluorine coat that repels water, oil and other contaminants.
