Nintendo unleashed our first decent look at gameplay from the upcoming Switch game Metroid Prime 4: Beyond overnight, and it's looking really good.
Yes, regardless of the much-anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 console looming, there's plenty of life in the original Switch yet.
We've been waiting a long time for this one, the story sizzle of which is "Harness Samus Aran's new psychic abilities to survive the mysterious planet of Viewros and find a way home."
It's a first-person styled adventure, as established back in 2002's GameCube outing Metroid Prime, and the new trailer shows off both the stunning, verdant world of the game, as well as those psychic abilities that Samus has been granted.
There's still no confirmed release date beyond "2025", but at least we're in it now, so it has to be out in the next nine months, right?
