If you’re an Xbox fan, you haven’t been short of fabulously coloured controller releases of late, and the next one is possibly the most stunning of them all so far.
Say hello to the Gold Shadow Special Edition, which features a stunning graduated gold to black metallic finish. There’s even a golden D-pad.
As you’d expect, this new release packs all the features we’ve come to expect from the latest generation of Xbox controllers, including textured triggers, bumpers, and grips, so there’s less likelihood of slippage in the heat of battle.
Battery life – via two AAs – continues to be an impressive 40 hours, the handy 3.5mm headset socket remains, and the share button that’s been added for this generation of Xbox sits proudly front and centre.
If you have friends over for gaming sessions, like to be prepared with a backup, or just love collecting the wild colours that Xbox controllers come in, then you won’t want to miss out on this one when it hits on November 3.
