Each month, we hand-select three standout anime releases, and April brings a fantastic lineup. Leading the charge is the intriguingly titled 'The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash'.

The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash

The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash

The privileged life of Femicia comes crashing down when she is diagnosed as clinically useless by the church - her abilities are ranked at zero! Considered at best worthless, at worst an ill omen, Femicia is now shunned by everyone, including her family.

Fleeing for her life, Femicia disguises herself and seeks shelter in the woods, only to discover that they hide their own dangers. A chance encounter with a fortune teller who grants Femicia clemency in her time of need changes her perspectives, and she soon finds that things might not be as hopeless as they seem.

Beautiful animation, a surprisingly heartwarming story, and truly likeable characters make The Weakest Tamer a delightful experience from start to finish.

A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special

Second chances are rare, let alone ones that come after the end of the world.

Magic user Desir Herrman is granted the second chance of a lifetime after a terrible, extinction-level event wipes out everything. Instead of oblivion, he's sent back in time 13 years, right to the beginning of his journey when he enrolled in the magic academy Havrion.

With all his memories intact and the opportunity to redo it all and prevent disaster from coming to pass, success seems like a surefire thing – of course, this is easier said than done, as all the obstacles he faced the first time around still stand in his way.

Bucchigiri?!

Bucchigiri?!

After awakening a genie that turns him from zero to hero, Arajin finds himself at the centre of a turf war between the gangs of his school. With no interest in their rivalry, Arajin’s goals lie elsewhere, in the affections of the prettiest girl in his class, Mahoro.

Complicating things is the fact that Mahoro’s older brother is the leader of one of the gangs, and worse still is that Arajin’s best friend is a member of the opposite side. Both gangs want Arajin, Arajin only wants Mahoro, and he’s able to ignore the gang’s rivalries until a third group shows up, forcing him to pick a side.
