Indie legends Ride are heading our way, and they're bringing Mercury Rev with them

British shoegaze superstars Ride are heading to Australia and New Zealand in August for a very welcome new tour, and they're bringing their US mates Mercury Rev with them.
Having reconvened back in 2014, Oxford’s Ride have recently unleashed their seventh album Interplay, their third since reforming. They’ve actually been together longer in this current formation than back in the day, where they laid a blueprint for the shoegaze movement that proved incredibly influential with indelible tracks such as Vapour Trail, Twistarella, and Leave Them All Behind.
Joining Ride will be much-loved indie rockers Mercury Rev, whose brilliant album Deserter’s Songs is still in regular rotation at STACK HQ.

Tickets are on sale May 17, and here are the dates:
Thursday, August 8 - Hindley Street Music Hall - Adelaide, SA
Friday, August 9 - Enmore Theatre - Sydney, NSW
Saturday, August 10 - Forum - Melbourne, VIC
Wednesday, August 14 - The Tivoli – Brisbane, QLD
Friday, August 16 - Metropolis – Perth, WA
Sunday, 18 August - Powerstation – Auckland, NZ
Go for an incredible musical Ride
