OPPO has always delivered great mid-range phones, and the new Reno13 series delivers a deluxe feel and feature set, plus cutting-edge aesthetics and new AI-powered features at an affordable price.
What’s on offer?
The OPPO Reno13 series comes in three flavours – the standard Reno13, the budget-friendly Reno13 F, and the fancier Reno13 Pro.
The Reno13 and Pro both feature a power boost over the 12 series thanks to the new MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Platform chip, which boosts CPU performance by 20% while cutting power consumption by 30%, with even greater gains on the GPU.
This new chip taps into AI features to bring improvements across the board. The series boasts a 50% improvement in call performance thanks to an AI-enhanced signal, and AI HyperBoost resource management results in better, smoother gaming experiences across all models.
The look and feel
The Reno13 range is stylish and professional. The base model and Pro both feature an aerospace-grade aluminium frame for comfort and durability, as well as sculpted glass to ensure the 120Hz adaptive screen is both beautiful and durable.
The stunning OLED display on each model is capable of reproducing 16.7 million colours, and is perfect for gaming or watching content on the go.
OPPO's "AirLight" design for the Reno13 series means a slim and attractive phone that’s totally in line with more premium models. Weight ranges from 181g for the base model through to 195g for the Pro – they're designed to be comfortable to hold and use for long periods. And each model has two colour options, so choose the one that suits your style.
Upgraded camera system
Each model comes with a 50MP main camera, plus ultra-wide, macro, and selfie lenses, and the Pro has more features for higher-grade photography.
The Pro also features a 3.5x telephoto camera with up to 30x zoom and an f/1.8 large aperture for professional-level shots. You can capture 4K ultra-clear video at 30fps, and IP69 water resistance means you can take stunning underwater photography.
The Reno13's AI Livephoto and AI Editor features can be used to tweak, change, and enhance your photos. Livephoto lets you photograph a whole moving memory, then crop and edit the photo easily, whereas the AI Editor can be used to remove blur, enhance clarity, and remove reflections from shots taken through glass.
You can turn static photos into three-second videos, combine multiple photos into a single shot, or reimagine your existing photos in different styles – and it's all easy and intuitive thanks to AI assistance.
Powerful new features
The batteries in the Reno13 series have also received an upgrade, ranging from a 5600mAh large battery in the standard through to a 5800mAh in the F and Pro models. They fully charge in under an hour, and will last you a full day.
Additional AI features include a screen translator and an AI Writer that can help polish your words, while AI summary can skim documents and give you the gist when you need it.
The Reno13 series will even stay cooler than previous models, thanks to the new AI-enhanced multi-cooling system.
