
The Three Musketeers is returning to screens in style

Not only is Alexandre Dumas’ literary classic receiving the movie treatment once again, it’s going to be a tale of two parts.
Directed by Martin Bourboulon, the reportedly faithful adaptations star François Civil, Vincent Cassel, Romain Duris, Pio Marmaï, and Eva Green. Keeping up that air of faithfulness is that the language spoken is Dumas’ native French, with English subtitles saving the day for those who don't speak it.
The official word goes like this: “From the Louvre to Buckingham Palace, to the gutters of Paris to the siege of La Rochelle… In a kingdom divided by religious wars and under threat of British invasion, a handful of men and women will cross swords and tie their fate to that of France.”
Both The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan and The Three Musketeers: Milady are currently slated for a staggered 2023 release.
Here’s a first teaser trailer, and we reckon that anybody who ever loved the tale will agree that it looks like it'll be a real treat:
